Kris Jenner Lemon Cake

I'm cutting right to the chase. Who the F does Kris Jenner think she is, by making some lemon cake that looks like I could eat the whole damn thing? Now, am a mom who could technically bake 3 cakes for tomorrow, as I don't work, and have a 3 year old who is pretty self-reliant. But, in reality, and with a hubs who prefers me NOT in the kitchen, will usually just hit the store and grab some pre-made BS and call it good.

Oh, I don't watch the Kardashians. Well, anymore actually. The ONLY thing I like about the show are probably the houses. The conversations they have with each other makes my head spin.

Alright, let's get to the recipe.

What you need?

Duncan Hines Lemon Supreme Cake Mix

JELLO Lemon Instant Pudding Mix

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup water

4 cage free eggs (preferably farm fresh)

Glaze:

Blend up 1 cup powdered sugar with either 2 tbsp raw milk or 2 tbsp lemon juice if you want that tartness.

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F

Mix everything in a large bowl, with a handheld mixer, medium speed for 2 minutes.

Bake that beeoch in a greased pan for 50 min, or until the center springs back when you gently touch it.

Cool for 25 min, place a plate on top, flip cake onto plate. When cake is out of the pan, put another plate on bottom of cake, then flip back over. Pokes holes in the cake and drizzle with the glaze.

Tips:

Use a bundt pan for that classy, special bakery look. Add some lemon zest to the batter to bring out the flavor and adds a little yellow flakery.

I've made some cakes in the past, and this I think takes the icing for being the easiest cake to make with a time crunch.

love you,  Sarah
